PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND


From April 2011     Brainstorm Multimedia

Developer at Brainstorm Multimedia, a provider of real time 3D graphics solutions, both in broadcast industry and feature film production.

 

March 2007 - March 2011     Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (labhuman)

Developer of real time graphics applications, involved in the following projects

  • Realitat3: project manager and developer of a cross-platform Augmented Reality engine. The project included the development of more than 10 apps/games based on the engine.
  • Ingeniería emocional del mueble: project manager in a development focused on detecting customer needs in the furniture sector. The software was built to run on a CAVE system.
  • Vision: developer of 3D - reconstruction and video-based rendering techniques.
  • eJunior: developer of real-time animation graphics modules, as part of an interactive system used for education and entertainment. The system was installed in the Oceanogràfic of Valencia.
  • Simucal: developer of an application about shoes behaviour simulation for evaluating customer comfort.
  • Rehabilitación virtual: developer of some mini-games of virtual reality for motor rehabilitation, based in motion-capture and optical-tracking. The applications are used in several hospitals, including Aigües Vives and Valencia del Mar (Spain).
  • Optical tracking: collaboration in the development of optical-tracking libraries.
  • Tools: development of general purpose tools, like configuration files libraries and applications, dummies for tracking, an OpenNI-based framework...

 

March 2007 – January 2009     Additive Works

Developer in “SGame” game, as an Additive Works team member.

 

April 2006 – February 2007     Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Mediclab)

Developer of real time graphics applications as a result of a R&D scholarship, and involved in the following projects.

  • Regata Virtual: developer in a 3D simulator of regattas (boat racing) “Regata Virtual” for the museum of Ciudad de las Artes y Las Ciencias of Valencia.
  • Mayordomo: developer of a 3D real time application targeted to elder people in order to track and better their morale (loneliness, sadness…).
  • XSE: developer in several areas (including graphics, sound and physics) of a 3D engine to be used for real-time games and simulations.

 

Setptember 2006 – April 2007     The HOA team

Developer of audio and graphics engine in “Hero Of Allacrost” game, in a 2D RPG open-source project.

 

June 2003 – September 2003     Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (DSIC)

Collaborator in a project called “Crisálida”, a short film done by the Computer Graphics Area in UPV.

 

November 2001 – April 2002     Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (DISCA)

Content generation for MGA (Motor Genérico de Autoevaluación) project, as a scholarship holder.
